Lead Area Agency Educational Coordinator
This person is responsible for ensuring that all assigned DCF (Department of Social Services) clients receive all appropriate education related services. This includes: attending TEAM meetings, timely communication with various school departments, maintaining Lotus Notes and DCF dictation The Education Coordinator will also work collaboratively in order to ensure quality services provided by the Family Networks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelors level degree required (Masters preferred), Work experience with DCF youth in residential treatment and 766 Special Education Programs as well as a Drivers license and use of a vehicle.
EXPERIENCE: Ability to facilitate multi-disciplined educational TEAM meetings. Proficiency in report writing and computer skills. Knowledge of DCF practices and policies. Knowledge of local educational systems and special education regulations.
Salary range is $37,00-$40,000

Boston Region STARR House Manager Communities for People, Inc is seeking a full-time (40 hrs) House Manager to work with at risk adolescent males, ages 12-18. The program is located in Boston, MA. This position will grant you exposure to the Department of Children and Families child welfare system and develop your skills for a rewarding career. The House Manager will assume responsibility for the daily operation of the site; to provide supervision to supervisory staff; and provide orientation and site training to all new staff. Ensure all new staff are familiar with operating standards i.e. daily schedule, behavior management, house rules and health and safety.
Qualifications for this postion incldude good writing and documentation skills as well as organizational ability, ability to manage budgets. Valid driver’s license and transportation.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer BS/BA in human services or related field and one year prior experience working with either children, youth or residential care OR High School graduate with two years residential experience working with children and adolescents. Part Time Bilingual Intensive Foster Care Social Worker
Provide Intensive foster care case management services for children and adolescents in Department of Children and Families custody. Conduct clinical assessments of children, complete homestudies, clinically prepare children and families for placement, assist children and families during children’s transitions into homes, and provide ongoing services throughout placement. Provide advocacy for children and families within the educational, legal and child welfare systems. (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred) The candidate must be fluent in Spanish & English and a car is required.
